sweet sweet baby...

I couldn't help but love this one, she was sweet yet sassy, tiny yet chubby, happy yet serious, she just had so much personality and I loved every second of our shoot. :) She was such a trooper even though we kept waking the poor thing up, she was so tired by the end of the session I know she was probably ready to see me and my annoying camera go! Every time she would get settled and fall asleep we would try to move her for different shot and she would wake up and look at us like "what on earth do you think you're doing??!" So so so cute. :) And mom and dad were such sweethearts so it made for a really nice fun day. I took a TON of photo's so I can already tell it's going to be hard to narrow them down! I hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! We are getting ready to host a rockband party tonight, if you haven't played rockband you have to try it out... but I must warn you it's highly addictive. I have actually been getting some serious hand cramps from the drums. [click photo's to view larger]

I'm baaaaccckk....

Ok, so I sort of fell of the face of the planet... well at least it must seem that way. :) Well we made it back from our vacation and it was wonderful, we had a fantastic time. I am going to get around to posting a few photo's from the trip asap. I did not come to the blog empty handed though, I do have some photo's to share from a recent session. This family made me laugh the entire time, and little Autumn gave me some major baby fever. I just adored this bunch and am so glad I got to meet them and had the opportunity to capture their fantastic personalities. Leaving on a jet plane...

Well my much needed vacation has finally arrived! We are headed to Europe in the morning for a couple of weeks. Girls just wanna have fun

Ok, after my session with a beautiful mom and her two beautiful daughters I realized a couple of things.
1. I totally got jipped not having a sister.
2. My mom is fantastic but if I was one of those unfortunate people that didn't have such a great mom, I would beg this mom to adopt me. :)

I just adore these three girls and I hope my photo's do them justice because that's a tall order.
(Oh and how fun that we ran into the groomsmen? I love how one of them is pointing at Erica, I was ready to pop his hand if it got any closer :)

wedded bliss

I'm a little behind here but I'm working on catching up. :) I had the distinct pleasure of shooting a wedding with the uber talented Mark Parsons, and I have the even more distinct pleasure of being a part of his "wedding photography" team now. He has been shooting weddings for years and it's wonderful working with him and gleaning loads of good information from him. His website can be found at www.markparsonsphotography.com. Here are a few of the photos from the gorgeous wedding we shot last week. The bride and groom were stunning, the church and reception location were to die for, and it was really just a perfect day. those eyes...

This handsome guy won me over the second I laid eyes on him, and the first thing I noticed was his beautiful eyes. He is just way way too cute and has a killer smile. He was really good to me too, he went along with all my crazy ideas although I'm sure he thought I was a little nuts and he was so patient and sweet, I could've stuck around all day. :) It was so fun hanging out with him and his mom and their sweet pup Maggie. Sweet Lillie

This sweetie pie stole my heart back in early November when I shot her newborn photo's, now she keeps growing and just when I think she couldn't possibly get any cuter she proves me wrong. I just can't get enough of this little cutie and hanging out with her and her lovely mom all day feels less like a job and more like a fun day with the girls. :) Here are some photo's of the princess!! Craziness

I've been bad about posting lately, life has been nothing short of madness. It's definitely one of those times where I am juggling so many things that if one more gets thrown in the mix I'm sure to drop them all. :) But it's better to be busy than bored I suppose! I *love* these photo's and I don't believe I ever shared them on here, so here you go! (click image to view larger)

It's a new dawn...

I have been dying for some new equipment for some time now, I think it's sort of a photographers addiction to have the latest and greatest, and let me tell you... it's not a cheap addiction to have but I can't help it! So... I got a new camera, and some new lenses, and they are just fantastic. I was skipping around my house like a 5 year old when my new equipment arrived, and not a moment too soon because it came the same day as my shoot with Jared. Jared flies planes, which I know almost nothing about but I find to be very fascinating and pretty freaking cool. So, for his Senior Photo's part deux we had a shoot with this gorgeous plane which was so outside the box for me and ended up being loads of fun. His parents were there so I managed to get a few with them as well and I just LOVE the one below of the three of them looking oh so cool . Rhonda had a hard time with the "not smiling part" because she smiles more than any person I know (seriously, if she doesn't lift your spirits then you must not have a pulse) but I think she pulled off the "tough and cool" look pretty well! And of course the guys had it down pat. :)

Double the fun

What could possibly be better than one adorable 2 year old boy? Well I've found the answer to this... one of lifes most challenging questions.... TWO adorable 2 year old boys! These twins are just way too cute and way too fun. :) We had an adventure all over downtown with mom, grandma and their adorable cousin in tow. It was so great hanging out with this fun family. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

You've been warned...

If you suffer from an aversion to cuteness, any cuteness allergies, or if you are generally uncomfortable with extremely adorable things then I strongly advise that you look away immediately. Little Caleb is about the cutest thing that has ever blessed this earth. I thought we were going to have a long day of awake Caleb but after a very small amount of fussing, and a lot of peeing (he's got great aim :) he passed out cold and we were able to get loads of sleepy shots. And you'll see his beautiful mom's maternity shot when sweet Caleb was in her belly, so excited I was able to use those blocks for his session! I'm so lucky that I get to hang out with little cuties like this and still call it work!
